Trouble in Obamalot

It’s Kennedy vs. Kennedy. Reuters:

Kennedy, the youngest brother of assassinated President John F. Kennedy and a veteran senator from Massachusetts, intends to announce his support for Obama at American University in Washington, a source close to the senator said.

He will be accompanied by his niece, Caroline Kennedy, the daughter of the late president, who has already endorsed Obama.

Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, a daughter of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and a former Maryland lieutenant governor, threw her support behind New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, Obama’s main rival for the Democratic nomination.

“I respect Caroline and Teddy’s decision but I have made a different choice,” Kennedy Townsend said in a statement.

“While I admire Sen. Obama greatly, I have known Hillary Clinton for over 25 years and have seen first hand how she gets results. As a woman, leader, and person of deep convictions, I believe Hillary Clinton would make the best possible choice for president.”

OK, so it’s a second-string Kennedy. The rest of the statment, not included in this article, says Robert Jr. and sister Kerry are also with Hill. No word on whether they think she’s a racist … dad wouldn’t like that … or her husband’s coming unglued or a liar, whatever.

Plenty more Kennedys yet to be heard from. The only guy Joe Kennedy’s endorsed lately is Hugo Chavez.

Here’s a lefty with a pretty clear view of what JFK was about, but only because she’s carrying Hill’s water and upset about all those distortions about Bill. There’s an irony. Taylor Marsh. Be sure to stop in and check out her … never mind.

appropriate enough, because only a Democrat would vote for McCain.

if he wins the (R)ino nomination for November, i’ll still go to the polls, but i won’t be voting for him (or anyone, most likely) for president.

    Per Kathleen Kennedy Townsend:

Note: If elected .. I believe HC will be entering and departing the White House on a daily basis .. on her “Broom” (with co-president Slick Willy in tow) .. and as soon as something does NOT go her way .. her deep convictions will surface in the form as a “Vast Right Wing Conspiracy”.

    Heheheheheh! The self-delusion lives on.

Hillary was successful in smothering the bimbo eruptions in ‘92 campaign. She did silence Juanita Broadrick for years and put BJ’s reckless sex-life off-limits to the MSM. She did successfully smear Ken Starr, Livingstone and some others.

And she did get results: HillaryCare gave us the first Republican Congress in 40 years. Just think of the results President Hillary and First Partner BJ would bring us.
