Bridge back to that century, bridge forward to this century, bridge over troubled waters, a bridge too far, the bridge over the river Kwai…bridges and more bridges…
Why don’t these people shut up about bridges… and say something ?
Max Boot says something in the Weekly Standard. He talks about a subject that barely comes up in all the bridge talk, except for Barack Obama’s irresponsible promise that as CIC he’d “pull out”.
Colonel Abbas Fadhil sounds like quite a guy.
“It’s very important for your forces to stay here and kick the bad people out.” His views were echoed by Abu Abed, a leader of the CLCs in the Ameriya neighborhood of Baghdad. “If coalition forces left it would be a disaster. All of us would get killed,” he told us.
