Pop Tart Needs Someone Who Cares
Say the shrinks, as Brits is civilly committed. Boston Herald:
Help for pop star Britney Spears, whose latest mental meltdown landed her in a psych ward for three days, needs to come from someone who has the struggling songtress’ best interests at heart, psychologists say.
“The one thing that this young woman will need is the absolute certainty that the person caring for her psychiatrically has no dog in the fight other than getting her well,” said Massachusetts psychologist to the stars, Dr. Keith Ablow, who is not treating Spears.
Added New York psychotherapist Dr. Robi Ludwig: “She needs to start accepting help from the right people and perhaps the first step is to realize she has a problem.”
Good luck with that, Britney. That caring-people train left the station a long time ago. Maybe it’s time to revisit child labor and exploitation laws, seeing as the perverted industry that eats up greedy, vain people’s children is the same one that is exercising undue influence on everyone else’s.

I suppose the Herald took a principled stand and ran this item on p. C18 along with “Car Crashes in Needham, Street Light Knocked Over”

perhaps the first step is to realize she has a problem.”
If she hasn’t realized she has a problem by now, she’s never going to. As for getting help from the right people, that’s almost impossible when you’re wrapped in the spiderweb of fame, money, colossal immaturity, and the horde of parasites attracted to that.

The whole Britney story is a disgraceful freak show. I do not understand the mentality that hangs on the daily misery of this girl’s life, an attitude that feeds the parasites who mob her everywhere she goes.
