LGF calls it “not a pretty picture.”
I dunno. I kind of like it. It gives me the same warm fuzzy feeling I get from impeachment demands, Bush arrest warrants, etc. Check the guy in the orange jumpsuit. He can’t get the Bushitlerites to put a sack over his head so he had to do it himself. Hey, what do you think al-Qaeda would do with his head? Let’s find out!

Looks like the Berkeley I know. Homeowners and taxpayers have to pay a bribe to the city in order to park their cars on public streets right in front of their own homes, while “homeless” scum can camp out on the sidewalk for free.
If you won’t buy a parking permit from the traitor-commie city government they tow your car away, but if you complain about homless vermin sprawled across the sidewalk, or dopedealers plying their trade in front of the schools, the cops tell you that there’s nothing they can do about it.
That’s one of the reasons I moved out of that slimpit.

How long do you think it would have taken the Berkeley police to respond if someone had padlocked him/herself to the doors of an abortion clinic, instead of a Marine recruiting station? Far less than 7.5 hours, I’m certain.
Shameful.

“How long do you think it would have taken the Berkeley police to respond if someone had padlocked him/herself to the doors of an abortion clinic, instead of a Marine recruiting station? Far less than 7.5 hours, I’m certain.”
I’d guess that the cops stood across the street watching the whole thing (which they did), because the city government told them not to intefere with the illegal activities of the protestors until several hours had passed (so that the protestors could screw with the Marines all day, and it would look like the city was enforcing the law, even though they really aren’t). That’s the same thing they do every day.
The city government is an aider and abettor of the minor criminal activity being carried out by the traitor/protestors (vandalism, blocking people who are trying to go about their business, etc.).
Hardly surprising, considering that their mayor was charged with petty theft by the Alameda District Attorney a few years back, and that the mayor publicly admitted his guilt.
‘Berkeley Mayor Tom Bates has decided to plead guilty for the theft and subsequent disposal of 1,000 copies of the Nov. 4 issue of the Daily Californian, which contained an endorsement of his opponent, Shirley Dean. A month after the incident, Bates is developing legislation to prevent this type of theft from reoccurring.’
‘“There is no question that tossing newspapers is absolutely inappropriate and unacceptable,” said Bates, who had earlier denied his involvement in the theft. “I apologize on behalf of myself and my supporters for our involvement in this activity.”’
‘After an investigation by the University of California police department, the Alameda County District Attorney charged Bates with petty theft. In a public statement, Bates announced that he would plead guilty and pay the $250 fine. Bates also said that he will compensate the Daily Californian for the copies that were stolen.’

Needless to say Bates’ vandalism, lying, and petty theft didn’t bother the (low-life) voters in Berkeley, he won re-election in 2006, and is now using the powers of his office to help other petty criminals do the things they do.
Berkeley: a city of low-life skank criminals, run by low-life skank criminals, for low-life skank criminals.
