Water Over Dam
Backs up. Bush offered to discuss waterboarding. Congress responded with a call for a criminal investigation. Better make sure they look at all the Dems who got briefed and didn’t say boo. That doesn’t get a mention in this article.
According to a recent report from a CIA interrogator, it was a rave success. Thirty-five seconds and Allah was in Abu Zubayda’s telling him to start yapping. Yap he did. Dozens of deadly attacks reportedly broken up. Sounds like a good return on the investment. Gartuitous Spanish Inquisition references notwithstanding, no one’s been burned at the stake, branded, lost a fingernail yet.
They’d do it again. AFP.
Previously,
In Defense of Waterboarding. It gets Mark Bowden’s vote, and mine.
Waterboarding. It gets Allah’s vote.
Waterboarding OK. It got Nancy Pelosi’s vote.
Meanwhile, here’s confirmation of “Camp 7,” hush-hush placed at Gitmo where the keep the AQ diehards, so they won’t mess with the ones who are blabbing. AP seems to think this is a big deal. Seems like a sensible housekeeping arrangement.

I’m against the practice. Why not use the time honored method of taking two prisoners, putting them in a room with the interrogator, who shoots one and then asks the other for answers to his questions. That works.
