First Iraq, Now the Paks

If he were an American pol, he’d be on life support. The art’s a joke. The news is real. Poll finds plummeting support for the Taliban, Osama bin Laden

To put that in some perspective, that means OBL has gone from being less popular than George Bush, to being less popular than the Democratic-led Congress. (Correction, my mistake: OBL had higher numbers than Bush, but spent the last few months in freefall, now at Congressional depths … AQ overall has dropped from sub-Bush to sub-Congress.* In any case,  Paks clearly are not happy with OBL and AQ’s conduct of the Global Jihad on Infidelism).

Here’s some internal AQ whining re the cold shoulder in Iraq, by the way.

* RCP average puts Bush at 33.3 with more organizations polling at or above, Congress at 24 with more organizations polling at or below, for those who want the methodology behind the mockology.

According to the poll results only 24 percent of Pakistanis approved of bin Laden when the survey was conducted last month, compared with 46 percent during a similar survey in August.

Bush is at 30%. You meant that Bin Laden has a slight edge on the Democratic Controlled congress? Ouch.
