Say Che
Anti-flag pin Obama campaign office sports Che banner.
Anomaly? Not at all, notes Hyscience. Commies heart Obama and apparently Obammies heart Commies.
Guess who thinks the to-do is a sign of a GOP threatened? Balloon Juice wants to know what possible good has come from our Cuba policy. Well, no Russian nukes there, for starters. Five decades of contained western hemisphere communism. Works for me. But then again, I’m a right-wing troglodyte. But history lessons for the willfully ignorant are a waste of time.
Essay question: If wearing an American flag pin is an unacceptable “substitute for true patriotism,” hence no Obama pinnage, then what is hanging a Cuban “Che” banner?
OK, as long as we’re saluting images of ideology, I’d like to salute this one:

The disclaimer with the video notes…
The office featured in this video is funded by volunteers of the Barack Obama Campaign and is not an official headquarters for his campaign.
However, Moveon.org’s endorsement of Obama fits right in with the people who put up the Ché poster.

Make d*mn sure any of your conservative friends who’s pondering sitting on his/her hands instead of voting for McCain sees this.
McCain’s far from ideal, but we could do far, far worse.

If you’re surprised that Obama supporters would be flying Cuban flags and pictures of Che…then you haven’t been paying attention.

“Balloon Juice wants to know what possible good has come from our Cuba policy.”
LOL. Dem supporters complaining about our Cuba policy. That is hilarious.
They probably think Dick Nixon ordered the Bay of Pigs invasion.

We wouldn’t even be talking about this is Che wasn’t just so dang purty. If he looked like…say…Mullah Omar or something, he could have SURVIVED the assassination attempt and STILL not made any t-shirts or flags…or Warhol paintings.
John Kerry’s a sensitive, war hero kinda guy and you don’t see teenagers drooly over him, do ya? Why? HE. AIN’T. PURTY.
(And Dave ~ normally I don’t solicit strangers ~ okay, how ’bout ‘not lately’ ~ but if you were ever a Grumman tech rep, email me.)

“And Dave ~ normally I don’t solicit strangers”
Same here. My wife gets very upset when I do stuff like that.
“but if you were ever a Grumman tech rep…”
Just my luck. I meet a girl who’s all ready to solicit a stranger as long as he’s a Grumman tech rep, and I’ve worked every job in the world…except that one.
Story of my life.
