GOP Iraq Vets
Want to tip the balance in a wartime Congress that isn’t interested in fighting.
You’ll recall a couple years ago the story was how Iraq vets were running as Democrats against the war. I don’t know if that means the ones who support the mission were still supporting the mission, but here they are.
The story mentions the lone Iraq vet in Congress, anti-war Dem Patrick Murphy, but fails to mention who’s running aganist him. It’s a great story.

More power to them. It’s time we took Congress back from that scurrilous, money-grubbing pack of cowards.

Still hopeful for defeat, Progressive Party member Senator Harry Reid (D) People’s Republic of Nevada said….
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who had said earlier that “a civil war rages” in Iraq, said he welcomes the additional debate on the money bill although he also said “obviously, this is only an effort to stall.”

Bah!
Chickenhawk! If he were really serious about supporting the war, he’d go back there and fight like a real man!

Bless ‘em every one. They’ve gone from warriors who act physically to intellectual warriors. All same same.
