Go Ahead

Make my Iraq War debate.  GOP senators advance withdrawal bill:

WASHINGTON (AP) — In an about-face, Senate Republicans on Tuesday agreed with Democrats to advance an anti-war bill because they said the debate would give them time to hail progress in Iraq.

I thought they always had the upper hand, though it does have the potential to be more entertaining now as Dems grasp more desperately for failure, and could prove quite useful in the upcoming general to underscoring the bankruptcy and ridiculousness of Democrat positions on the war.

It’s probably their own fault that the Republicans are no longer the majority in Congress, but they obviously didn’t forget how to play the game as a minority even after a dozen years in power. Thank goodness.
