Gaza Heats Up
Israel, fed up with rocket attacks, wacks 54 in Gaza. “Militants” remain “defiant.” Abbas gets the lead quote, with his call for a reasonable response to irrationality. He’s not the only one trotting out the Nazi analogies.

Gee, the ever helpful, honest broker UN Security council calls for restraint only after when Israel responds. In the days leading up to Israel’s response, they were dead silent.
Its like those rockets were just part of the PA’s rich tradition of warhead equipped hobby model rocketry which somehow went awry and now Israel is over-reacting again.
Anybody else find the world’s consistently facilitating response to Islamic pathology baffling?

What would be the reasonable response, I wonder? Should Israel set up similar rockets and start shooting them aimlessly into Gaza? Gee, I wonder what the international response would be to that?

About time. Israel needs to seriously kick Hama and Fatah in their collective a$$.

What I don’t understand is why Israel even bothers to try and court world opinion anymore.

Well, Rebecca, on the one hand, if they didn’t offer at least a token resistance, the thugs in the UN would eventually authorize an invasion of Israel. And, no, that’s not snark.
On the other hand, there’s that old saying: “Hold your friends close, but your enemies closer.”

PS: Otherwise, I agree with you. Why bother?
