Racist Joke
Laugh riot at Malkin’s, I don’t intend to elaborate on:
Two congressmen today said the Department of Homeland Security needs more diversity to be effective, and scolded Secretary Michael Chertoff for not bringing any black or female staffers to his appearance before the House Judiciary Committee.
…
Mr. Chertoff responded that Mr. Watt shouldn’t judge his staff based purely on appearance.
OK, I’ll maybe elaborate a little. These morons were apparently serious, and there should be nothing funny about naked, unbridled racism and sexism. This kind of naked racism and sexism wants a bridle. Once its bridled, it ought to be ridden around the room a couple of times.
It’s like hobbyhorse racism and sexism. Yee ha! Ride ‘em, cowboy!
OK, OK, this is serious business. If they actually said these things, then Messrs. Scott and Watt are bigots, bent on humiliating federal employees based on race and gender, who should be hounded out of Congress like Imus out of CBS. Or laughed out. Imus, in addition to being a no-class jackass, was guilty of not being funny. These guys don’t have that problem.
Here’s the part that is not funny. These people actually have a say in our national security, and have been doing everything they can to undermine it. If Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton is elected, they get their chance.

Jules, you obviously don’t understand what is important here. I suggest you work on getting your priorities straight. Institutionalized racism is certainly more important than the protection of America, for what is there to protect if we give up such institutions?

Once elected to Congress, there is a tendency for any said elected jackass to (self-righteously) assume his or her…affliction…now carries more weight, more gravitas.
Obviously, the presence (seemingly, proliferation) of such limited minds does not bode well for the future of the Republic.

Diversity is how you look, Silly.
Unless you’re Clarence Thomas of course.
