Phone Call for Mr. Obama
It’s reality calling. Another truth-telling advisor with a different kind of message for Obie: Let my telecoms go.

Good advice. But will he listen? No, he won’t! No, he won’t!

Wasn’t it the trial lawyers that pushed so hard to not give telecoms immunity from lawsuits ? Who didn’t want to give up those potentially lucrative lawsuits, dragging on into the next millennium ?
And wasn’t it the lawyer ridden, lobbyist ridden and favor ridden Congress that went along with the pressure ?
Weren’t we once a country where ALL facets of business and government would want to cooperate in something like creating the most efficient means to interdict “terrorist” communications ?
Maybe not, but the BS today seems wider and deeper and more endless.

Good advise. But will The Obama fire him? “Yes, we can! Yes, we can!”
(idea shamelessly copied from Fatty Bolger)

The comments are interesting, with the majority happy that Obama has people around him who disagree with him and don’t understand why the article was even written. Nothing the expert had to say, or why he left the campaign made a dent. They were much more interested in bashing Bush and the telecoms for their gross illegal actions.
Idiots.
