Onward Christian,
Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Wiccan, whatever soldiers vs. Islamic terrorism. I have to go with the Vatican on this. OBL is out of line suggesting the Pope is part of a New Crusade. A little more support from Ben XVI for the Global Crusade on Terrorism would be greatly appreciated.

If some ambitious jihadi makes an attempt on the Pope, all that “desire for dialogue” will vanish like a snowflake on a griddle. And not a moment too soon.

One would hope you are correct, Rebecca, but after what we’ve seen since 9-11, I no longer try to put a limit on what the West will put up with. The enemy wouldn’t be where they are if we had demonstrated less tolerance.
