Some people in the comments after the article protest that “Obama has done nothing wrong.” And indeed he hasn’t. This isn’t a Starr enquiry, and he’s not guilty of any crime or moral wrongdoing.
It’s simply about finding out if a guy who wants to be President is a racist who subscribes to anti-American conspiracy theories. It’s about looking into Barack Obama’s heart and mind and seeing what’s there. Quite simple.
Nobody thinks he has done anything wrong (in the Spitzer/Clinton/Kennedy sense).
He’s being scrutinised, and he’s not holding up well under the scrutiny.

Yup. It’s his right to sit in church and listen to all of the anti-American, racist, venemous sermons that he wants to. It’s his right to take his wife and children there, too. Just don’t expect people to like it, or to not reconsider their support for you as president once they find out about it.
