Drinking Responsibly
I always thought that sounded a little oxymoronic, but Tigerhawk holds forth on the subject, counseling people not to be moronic. I’ll hoist a frosty mug to that, but I’d just like to comment that it sounds like Tigerhawk drinks a lot more than me, yet less. On that ingrained in western history part, by the way, I’ll add it’s ingrained in Crit history, too … literally hundreds of years spent pouring ale in the family pubs in and around Melbourne and London, back to the ancient half-timbered ancestral pub outside Maidstone, Kent, by the old stone bridge over the Medway where the Royalists failed to hold against Cromwell’s New Model Army, and no doubt the landlord at the Bull Inn poured beer for both sides. Also, the yeoman’s work of hops husbandry in the same environs.
