Coming Home

Sgt. Matthew Maupin’s remains found. Cincinnati Enquirer

After waiting nearly four years, the family of Army Staff Sgt. Matt Maupin of Batavia learned Sunday that he had died in Iraq after being captured by insurgents.

“Matt is coming home. He’s completed his mission,” Keith Maupin said.

No details as yet on where, when, in what condition his remains were found. A little more detail at CNN, with the names of the other soldiers still missing in Iraq.
