Bobblehead Pope

Yanked from YouTube when the DC Metro figures out it might not be the best marketing ploy. Here’s the vid. It’s kind of like those lawn gnome ads, only creepier. Outraged Catholics will start burning transit stations shortly. But if you think that’s bad, you should see the Metro ad for next week’s Flying Imams convention:

Just kidding. They’d never do that. That would be offensive and in poor taste.

The difference is, some devout Catholics will giggle quietly at the Bobblehead Pope. Muslims, OTOH, will go out and burn down a few buildings, a few cars, and run riot in the streets because of Bobblehead Mo.

I am a life long catholic. Went to catholic schools. Ignoring the flub on the outfit, I thought this was humorous and not disrespectful. I believe Pope Benedict would have chuckled. I know Pope John Paul would have.
