Hamas Carter

They look like fun guys to me. But Gay Patriot wants the Senate to censure Jimmy Carter for treating with terrorists.

I dunno, howzabout impeaching him for failing to respond to grave assaults upon the property, persons and dignity of the United States, an act of cowardice in the face of the enemy that inaugurated three decades of war and counting?

Oh yeah, too late. Seriously, though, I have no idea whether the United States Senate has any standing to censure a private citizen, though I’d suggest they might consider withdrawing his Secret Service protection, and let Hamas protect him. It could be a pointed if belated lesson that words and deeds (and sometimes the lack thereof) have consequences. While it would be wonderful to see these measures put forward in the Senate, under Harry Reid that goes exactly nowhere. Never mind that Carter is his party’s elder statesman. If they start willy-nilly censuring everyone who provides aid and comfort to terrorists, where does that end?

Anyway, a kinder, gentler approach to terrorism is all the rage these days.

   I want more than censure. I want an examination by reputable psychiatrists and possible commitment to a nursing home, for his safety and ours.

   Hey, if Hamas is a vital part of the peace process, why don’t we give them arms like we do Israel? We can let them have guns, missiles, tanks, anti-aircraft systems, helicopters, whatever, you name it. (I’d say fighter jets, too, but who would fly them?)

   I’m sure Carter would feel “quite at ease” about doing that. After all, Hamas is a willing partner in peace! They would NEVER use those weapons against Israel, unprovoked. They would be purely for defense. And to satisfy you doubters, we can have a formal pinkie swearing to be sure of it.

   Is that last picture Nancy Pelosi talking to the ophthalmologist in Syria ?

   Where’s the headscarf she sported during that visit ?

   Did she take it off for the Photo Op ?

   Speaking of photo Ops (Pallywood loves Photo Ops) the Damascus Hamas guy (he fights with the Gaza Hamas guy over who’s the bigger honcho)….the DHG is unabashedly exploiting the potential visit of an ex (very ex) President for a Photo Op of his own.
