The first thing that I’ll do as President is take down the flag at the Whitehouse because it signifies support for the last guy’s war. The second will be to nominate the Rev. Wright as Sec of State. The third will be to get rid of all those non-essential little towns that are taking up space in the Heart of Amerikkka park land. Maybe all those folks could move to Italy.

What I care about is him *not* wearing a pin.

But the silly English language doesn’t give me a way to indicate that the first is passive… and the second is active.

Sort of like I don’t drink but it’s a passive sort of never get around to it not drinking… which is completely different from not drinking because of some active principle of either being an alcoholic on the wagon or thinking it’s a sin.
