Feeling Gaia’s Pain

Big h/t to Vodkapundit for a stellar exemplar of Hollywoodiocy. Unclear if this is a joke, but it appears to be serious. Access Hollywood: Harrison Ford waxes his chest hair to demonstrate the pain of deforestation.
Additional funny part is, Indiana Jones is taking it pretty stoically. Can we get a grimace or a screech? The message I’m getting off eco-tough guy’s chest pull is, if he can take it, maybe leathery old Gaia can roll with the punches, too.
Big nod to Vanguard of the Commentariat in comments for pointing out that Gaia-concerned Ford seen above getting waxed is apparently the same as carbon-positive* Helicopter Harry who had a close shave a few years back.
* The pilot has donated half his ranch as a nature preserve, which I suppose in fairness passes as a Gaian indulgence. But by the hair of Harrison, you quarter-acre subdevelopment peasants better stop flying coach and buying furniture, though.

What next? Liposuction to protest world hunger? Botox treatments to protest war?

BTW: What did they name Indy’s kid in the new flick? Minnesota? Basketball?

Never mind that there are more forests now than there were a hundred years ago. Never let facts get in the way of a good eco pose. By the way, Harry also flies a helicopter as a hobby. Wonder what that sets him back in carbon offsets. I know my H-46 got less than a mile per gallon.
