Misery Index
With a nod to No Pasaran, we are as a function of economic policy less miserable than Europe, and most other places. And happier, too. Oddly, Russia, Georgia and South Africa are less miserable than us. OK then. As is usually the case with generalized rankings, various tangibles and intangibles are unaccounted for, and the statistical dearth of selective misery-inducing factors isn’t necessarily going to make you less miserable in say, the UAE, as opposed to France. It might, though.

The only thing miserable here is listening to millionaire elitists like Michelle Obama and Jeremiah Wright wanking about how miserable it is here.

I’m not surprised that the Russkies should be less miserable than we are. When soomebody’s constantly drunk as a skunk who can tell if he’s miserable?
