Top-Rated Sexy Sox Girls
Another Herald editor was talking to someone in Red Sox marketing a while back who reported women are a hot segment of the booming Sox fan base. Apparently so:

Somebody takes a great snapshot.
But I think this girl shelled out for a glam shot for her moment in the Sox sun.

I’d like to note that these all appear to be serious Sox fans as none of them, whatever else they might be wearing, are sporting the controversial pink Red Sox hat, though there’s a couple of camo ones and a Yankee Hater hat in there.
Entirely unrelated, but “Top-Rated Sexy Sox Girls” seemed like a good place to link to Jeff Goldstein’s clash with an offended ditz of a commenter who, true to the genre, reveals her own prejudices by imagining all kinds of uncommitted offenses. Jeff is giving her a lot more attention than she’s due, which is none at all, but the links are loads of fun … all that great scantily clad sex vixen jungle comic art with masked savages and open-shirted revolver-wielders from the 1930s (gawd, that was a great century), with indignant feminist condemnations and a distraught busted feminist’s sincere handwringing apologies, as she claims she was pantsed by her publisher.
Never mind that the indignant feminist site is topped with the image of a little girl running down the street wildly swinging a shotgun with a pistol grip. Clearly not a site promoting gun safety. Maybe even a site promoting righteous femo-violence/man-killing … and they’re getting worked up about irresponsible use of imagery?

So so.
Much better eyeball liberty at Wrigley.
Plus there’s that whole 100 years of frustration thing going on.
