Rough Waters
Salty Dog, a reader and great commenter from the start who came over from Blair’s, looks to be going ahead where we all are bound sooner or later. To judge by her remarks over the last couple of years, it’s been a good run. Best wishes, Salty Dog, and fair sailing.

You lovely red head, with green eyes that could make one weep, as you mentioned to a commenter here, at The House of Jules.

There must be more need for beautiful wit in Heaven. God bless, Saltydog, and many thanks.

What a great message you wrote over there, Salty. I am glad to hear you are in good spirits and feeling okay. Hang in there and wring every bit of love and laughter you can out of everything and everyone around you. I lost my mom recently and the last months and days I had with her were filled with a very special kind of love–the bedrock kind of love that we so often forget to pay attention to while we are pursuing our worldly seeming importances. May you find beauty and meaning during this time.
And thank you so much for all your wise words and wonderful humor here. As Rebecca says, it’s ain’t over ’till it’s over, so I expect you’ll be zinging us yet.

The forces of evil must be trying to take over heaven and God needs all the help he can get. It is one of the wonders of this internet that people you have never met or seen reach out and touch you, as Salty has. I hope to meet you someday in a better place,

What sad news. These blogs let us feel like friends of people we never met, even people we will never meet.
