Coffee Is Her Jihad

Dunkin Donuts yanks ad with Rachael Ray in jihadi chic, as Malkin put it. Globe sneers at the cave.

Malkin points out approvingly that Delta Delta has its own jihad going re illegals. Now, there’s the local company’s new sensitivity to GWOT concerns. But I still won’t drink it. Starbucks costs more and uses annoying bogus marketing terms like “tall,” “grande” and “venti,” along with do-gooder enviro messages on the disposable cups (which does make them conveniently easy to throw away. The messages, I mean). Also has tried to turn being counter help into some kind of groovy lifestyle profession with bennies, which I’d rather not pay for. But I like it better. That’s part of what American free enterprise is about. Getting what you want, without having to swallow anyone’s politics.  I’ll rethink my support for Starbucks if they start putting pro-Jihad messages on the cups and start funnelling money to Hamas. I wouldn’t drink Dunkin Donuts if Rachael Ray put on Kevlar and was taped killing jihadis in Iraq. OK, maybe then I would, but I wouldn’t like it.

Hey, that’s an idea. Send Rachael Ray to Iraq. She doesn’t actually have to kill any jihadis. She can just deliver coolattas to the guys who are.

Malkin weighs in this morning with more on jihadi chic, a shot back at the smirking Globies, etc.

It looks like a keffiyah, but looking closer, I believe it is a paisley design as the company claimed. Not that that makes it any more attractive. This is just a tempest in a teapot. Which I drink, by the way, instead of coffee.

I bet she’s wearing Che panties, too. :)

No fan of liberals, but this is really weak. Does not look like jihadi chic, even when someone suggest that it is. Michelle needs to take a breath and get on something important.
