Till someone gets an eye out. Top Dem, really serious now, predicts a rapid end to the contest after next week’s primaries. Based solely on the past year and a half of top Dem political predictions and progress … that and, you know, the eye-gouging … I predict a floor fight in August.

Sorry to disappoint you Jules, but the game is the $20 mil now. Next week O agrees to pay it off, and she slinks away to fight another day. Hillbilly in 2012!

The Dems are desperate to avoid a showdown in August, but there’s a lot of division and bitterness there. I’m keeping a stock of popcorn in, just in case.
