Attractiveness Gap Narrowing
The “no experience” tack having failed, Obama camp tries another angle. CNN:
“There’s a gigantic difference between John McCain and Barack Obama and between me and I suspect my vice presidential opponent,” Biden said at an outdoor rally Sunday, getting ready to hit the GOP ticket for their economic policies.
“She’s good-looking,” he quipped.
Palin’s charm and attractiveness, in addition to her lack of experience, make her a direct threat to everything Obama-Biden stand for, hence the “I know you are but what am I” campaign strategy. While she does not have hairplugs, she has plugged assorted wildlife, effectively out-plugging Biden. No wonder the latest polling as of today gives Obama only a 1-2 point lead. Which, when moderate Dem lying is weeded out, translates to a 10-point deficit.

Ah, good old slow-Joe Biden, the gift that will keep on giving right up to November. He’s just getting warmed up at this point, wait until he really turns on the “charm.”

At this point it seems McCain/Palin are going to have to screw up very badly to lose the election.

RebeccaH, shhhhh. Let’s not tempt maverick fate. With Palin the media will have to concoct charges but with McCain… Well he helps with the heavy lifting.
Maybe with Cindy and Sarah herding him he can be driven into a normal view of things. Gee John, Haw John, Get along John, Whoa John.

MikeH, you’re correct. And behind every great man is a firm-handed woman.

Jim Treacher nails the difference between Obama and Palin. As usual.
