It’s An American Hero Thing
Obama camp: Ha ha, old geezer can’t even use email.
Goldberg: Yeah. He can’t throw a baseball, tie his shoes, or comb his own hair either, a-hole.
Goldberg notes its part of Obama’s new “get-tough” tack. Turns out when the going gets tough, it can be tough going. Reynolds, who has the definitive computer literacy roundup, initially thought it was just offensive to older Americans, before he became aware it insulted a great man’s heroic service to his country under unimagineable circumstances. Good point, Glenn. Older Americans vote more than the fresh-faced iPod wearers who are all gushy about Obama. Generally because, whether they use the Internet or not, they tend to be more clued into reality. It’s a life-experience thing. Though I dunno … if you’ve found yourself on the Internet joke/outrage mailing list of any of this country’s great generation of Geezer-Americans, you’ll know they’re plenty e-literate and Obama isn’t fooling them one bit.
Malkin: Which disabled war vets will they insult next?

I guarantee if the Democrat ticket featured a crippled war hero and a woman who has overcome all odds to succeed, we’d all be required to pay constant homage to those facts to the exclusion of all other considerations.

A new low for the Obama campaign. Although I disagree with Obama on many things, and feel he is entirely unqualified to be President at this point, I still thought of him as a generally decent guy, political necessities notwithstanding. No longer.

Look into Obama’s past campaigns that took him to where he is now. The “decent guy” notion will fall by the wayside rather quickly. There is pattern of corrupt and illegal practices.
