Busted in NYC
Dutch “graffiti tourist” gets primo tour, accommodations after cops chase him up the subway tracks and bust him. Robbert Boxem, 23, charged with criminal mischief and reckless endangerment, was in town for the big Meeting of Styles. If he doesn’t get any of the four years time he’s looking at, then he gets to go home as a hero among Dutch spray-paint vandals.

Honestly. Giant canvases retail for about $80, which is way less than an airline ticket from anywhere in Europe. Apartment walls are practically free, artistically speaking. What’s the big deal about painting pigeon-crap targets on trains and old buildings?
