Even In Massachusetts …

… they were able to figure out this is wrong. Umass-Amherst officials quash a campus chaplain’s offer of two college credits to any student who would campaign for Obama in New Hampshire this fall. via Breitbart.

Chaplain Kent Higgins apparently claimed the offer was also open to anyone who wanted to work for McCain. Which is an interesting claim given his apparent level of terror about the prospects of a McCain presidency.
UMass official thought it was more of Higgins’ disaster relief, humanitarianism student involvement shtick. They balked when they realized it wasn’t a non-partisan get-out-the-vote effort. But I dunno. Given the danger that McCain is going to enslave Whoopi Goldberg, and Palin is going to declare war on Russia, if stoking the vote against horrors like that isn’t a humanitarian venture, I don’t know what is.
