As Corny As Ohio In September
The new maze, which opened Sept. 23, was carved into the 16-acre cornfield with the words “Sarah America” above her head.
Duke and Martha Wheeler, owners of The Whitehouse Christmas Tree Farm and The Corn Maze at The Butterfly House, hired designers from Idaho to design and carve the Sarah Palin corn maze.
“We feel that this will raise awareness and [Palin] will come and visit us,” Duke Wheeler said.
Wheeler said this will also allow visitors to express their freedom of choice and simply have fun by walking through the corn field.

Wheeler said he has not heard about any other Sarah Palin mazes in the country.
However, he said there’s a maze of Barack Obama and John McCain in Tennessee, which was designed by MazePlay Inc., the same company that designed Palin.

“We’re excited about being able to create the excitement using the maze,” Wheeler said. “We hope that everybody is taking this election seriously. The more we learn about the candidates, the better we as a country will elect the right people to lead this country.”
