Racially Tinged
AP “analysis” deems Palin’s “palling around with terrorists” hit on Obama to be “racially tinged.” There’s nothing actually approaching evidence to support this bizarre claim. It takes the AP fully seventeen paragraphs to get around to the speculative leaps and aspersions that pass for an argument.
It is an astonishing bucket of gall from a wire service that, in describing said terrorists in its reporting of this matter, studiously avoided any mention of the police officers, security guards and bystanders murdered by the Weathermen’s bombs, in blatant effort to downplay the criminal nature of the group with which Obama, by virtue of a long-standing political partnership, has chosen to associate himself.
In fact, this effort is nothing more than naked, dyed-in-the-wool race-baiting by AP editor Douglass K. Daniel and the Associated Press. Charitably, they might see no other possible reason why Americans might want to know or be concerned about the Democratic candidate’s long associations with a number of fringe radicals, from Ayers to the hate-mongering Rev. Jeremiah Wright. But I’d suggest these wretched bigots, who assume the worst of white Americans, are playing the old game of trying to squelch criticism by tarring it with the racism brush. They should be ashamed of themselves.
This from a news agency that invented the principle of non-partisan reporting when it was founded more than 150 years ago, with a commitment to provide newspapers of all stripes raw information. It’s time for the clients who pay the bills to demand a quality product. Perhaps to consider legal action for fraud. To demand the removal of editors and executives who, responsible to thousands of client publications and their millions of readers, have failed to carry out the fundamental mission of the Associated Press and instead have descended into partisan, race-baiting politics of the lowest variety.
A brief list of prior examples of AP partisan bias, race-baiting, and providing comfort to terrorists:

AP has no credibility anymore. la’Affaire Jamil Hussein shredded their utility as a hard news organization that could be quasi-trusted. I avoid citing them now and will reference back to the original sources AP used in their bastardizations. If no verifiable local source is available, I assume the story is pure bullshit and ignore it.

All this vague “race-tingeing” is worthless, as it has been used so often on trivialities, mainstream America doesn’t buy into anymore. And the jerks who use it are simply hurting the people who have suffered from real racism.
