“His answer actually scared me even more … He said he wants to distribute wealth … that’s kind of a socialist viewpoint. I worked for that, it’s my discretion who I want to give it to. It’s not for the government to decide I make a little too much so I need to share it with other people. That’s not the American dream.”

The government already takes our money and distributes it as it pleases…billions for a war we didn’t ask for…research on tree frogs in Brazil…foreign aid to countries that hate us. I know a woman who is getting taxpayer money because she has health problems related to obesity and can’t work. It’s a myth we have control over the money we earn!

Yes, but there is a significant difference in principle between tax-and-spend policies that have gotten out of hand and a socialist commitment to redistribute wealth.

This is proof that Obama’s goal is wealth redistribution for its own sake. That’s the underpinning philosophy of Marxist economic theory.
Are we really about to elect a man who thinks that rich plumbers need to “spread the wealth around?”

Obama’s Marxism has been hidden in plain sight this whole time. The Kurtz piece on his work in the schools makes that very clear.
I do not think he will be elected, because I believe there are enough people out there like Joe the plumber who are actually willing and able to think on principle. But then I am a known optimist…
