Nationwide Amber Alert
For six-year-old Cole Puffinburger, abducted from his home outside Las Vegas by suspected drug thugs posing as cops. KVBC Las Vegas:
Six-year-old Cole Puffinberger is a first grader at Stanford Elementary School. He is 47″ tall, weighs 48 pounds, has blonde hair, blue eyes, distinctly stained front teeth, an overbite and wears prescription glasses.
Cole was last seen wearing a black John Cena wrestling shirt, dark jeans, and a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt with black, blue, and white stars.
An Amber Alert has been issued and News 3 will provide more details on that information as soon as it is available.
However, we now have one description of the three Hispanic males who are suspects, all of whom speak with a Hispanic accent.
The suspect is described as having black, shoulder length hair worn slicked back, looks to be in his early 30s, stands 5′7″ and weighs 150 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555 or the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Robbery Section at 828-3591.
KVBC says the motive is undetermined though at AP report, not yet popping up via Google news, sites a drug dispute, saying the men came in pretending to be cops, tied up the mom and her boyfirend, ransacked the house looking for money, and took the kid.

I suppose anything is possible, but it seems strange that drug dealers would risk inviting the kind of attention generated by the kidnapping of a young child, simply over a drug debt. They know about Amber alerts, too.
