Author, actor, social commentator Denis Leary, railing against the Boston Herald:
“Everything that was said in the newspaper was absolutely not true,” Leary told the audience. “This makes me angry, to think I’d be such a (expletive) (expletive) I’d make fun of autistic (expletive) children? (Expletive) you!”
El Heraldo columnist Peter Gelzinis:
Yo, Denis, just to let you know - only a (expletive expletive) would refer to autistic kids as “autistic (expletive) children.”
But then, what else would you expect from a low-rent Lenny Bruce who passes himself off as an actor, comedian, social satirist and jock sniffer - and who titled his latest collection of navel gazings and butt scratchings, “Why We Suck: A Feel Good Guide To Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid.”
Hey, you’re not supposed to get in (expletive) matches with skunks. Especially professional ones. Yeah, well, it’s a dirty job but someone’s gotta do it.

I have also occasionally run afoul of WP’s “comment too short” goblin. Oh well. Such is life in the netherworld of the internet.
As for Denis Leary, ugh. I never could watch him in action, because he continually seethes with anger, even when he’s in an acting role playing somebody else. It’s a wonder his heart hasn’t exploded by now with all that rage.

This guy is such a third-rate (expletive, expletive) “entertainer” that I question whether his opinions even register with anybody other than those he directly attacks.

I suspect Gerard’s problem with his first attempt to comment has something to do with whatever anti-spam plugins you’re using. I stick with Akismet myself, because I find the others tend to be either a tad too lenient, or too blippin’ strict.

I’m using the same, but apparently it has a problem with GVDL’s brevity. I dunno … it’s a mystery.
