Apparently he is definitely eventually asking her out, though near as I can tell, the eye-batting and passing of notes in class continues.
There’s also this bit about an “enhanced role” for a non-SoS Hill in the Senate. Sounds a little like a booby prize for the also-ran who has been dissed by the boy’s club. You know what I think. As long as we’re stuck with an Obama admin for the next four years, we could do worse than the Valkyrie as War Czar. But the prolonged game of footsie makes me wonder whether Obama is starting to question the wisdom of surrounding himself with hatchetmen from the enemy camp. But if we’re turning into a banana republic like some people say, then maybe we’re ripe for a coup. Nod to Drudge on the links.

If Hillary is truly considering this option, she essentially has given up all presidential aspirations. This is the ultimate form of political castration by Obama.

All this tiptoeing around reminds me of two wary dogs circling each other, wondering just how sharp the other one’s teeth are. While I think Hillary would make a better SoS than any of Obama’s leftist pansies, I also think she’s considering what Obama might do to kill her political career forever. And he’s wondering if he’ll still have eyeballs left after appointing her.
