War Crimes/Hungarian Porn Activist Busted

In fed bribery sting. Boston Herald. Boston City Councilor Chuck Turner is seen here in Government Exhibit B:

A still image capture of FBI...

It isn’t the first time he’s been taken in. The cash, the secret camera and the indictment are new twists, though.

You’ll recall Chuck Turner as the city councilor who, with the help of local “activist” Sadiki Kambon, got the Boston Globe to run graphic Hungarian pornography in its news pages as evidence of American war crimes in 2004.

Unfortunately, the only image I could find online isn’t big enough to show the Eastern Bloc uniforms of the hated American crusaders as they defile oddly European-looking, smiling Iraqi women in various professional poses. However, it’s tastefully small enough so that you can’t see the genitalia, breasts, etc., that were plainly visible in the Globe’s presentation even after they shrank it down for second edition.

Here’s the Globe’s “The dog ate our homework” mea culpa at the time.

Also, World Net Daily’s important coverage of the issue, including the fact that the hoax was already all over the Internet, a factor that figured strongly in the Boston Herald city desk’s decision not to run with Turner’s expose.

Back to the corruption. It’s a spreading local scandal. Turner’s secret handshake follows on former state Sen. Dianne Wilkerson’s C-notes in the double D cameo. Government Exhibit D:

Corruption in the city of Boston? Say it ain’t so! What’s next, Chicago?

I love how the porn site’s operator removed the images because they were used for anti-American propaganda. Apparently even Hungarian porn sites have more scruples than the Boston Globe.
