Slumber Interrupted

When the feds busted him on the job. Boston City Councilor Chuck Turner was picked up in his City Hall office, sawing logs. Feds say he went down cheap. It was 1,000 bucks to “take the wife to dinner and . . . have some fun.” Boston Herald. Chuck says he objects to being tried in the media, which is odd because he’s always considered it a great venue for justice. Take his prosecution of American war criminals/Hungarian pornographers, for example, in the 1st Media District Court of the Boston Globe. Big question, who’s next? So far, with state Sen. Dianne Wilkerson (DD-$23,000) and now Turner, it all has to do black pols and a liquor license for a club in a largely black neighborhood. Hardly seems fair. Hey FBI, this is Boston. If you can’t find some stupid, crooked white pols, you aren’t trying! Some of them sound worried, though.
