The Mechanic

That’s what type of blogger I am, according to the Typealyzer. Independent, problem-solving. Master of the response to the spontaneous challenge.
Likes working with other independent, skilled people. No kidding. It’s the unskilled clingers I can’t stand. Likes action, risk, adventure. Could be a race car driver.
All sounds good … very Bronson. I like it. If you go to the first link, you’ll see a picture of my brain at work. Logical, practical parts fully engaged. As much fun as it might be, I’m not going to analyze everyone else’s type, because I pissed too many people off by calling their manhood and womanhood into question the other day with that genderanalyzer thing. But Surber did.* Apparently I’m just like Rush Limbaugh. I’m having a good couple of days here. Yesterday, I was a “noted a-hole” in the company of Steyn and Blair. The day before that, I maxed out near the top of the blogging manliness scale.
* Surber, a Visionary, reports that Reynolds is a Thinker, Malkin is a Doer, and Drudge, because he writes in Filipino, does not compute. There might be a couple of kinks in that algorithm. Though this looks about right for Reynolds:

And this works for Surber:

OK, I did run some others. Treacher’s a Thinker just like Reynolds. Gateway and Theo Spark are Mechanics like me. I’m guessing they’ll like that better than the other day’s results. Ace is a Mechanic, too. Blair, a Doer like Malkin. I had trouble finding a suitable image for that type. Iowahawk, who probably deserves a classification all his own, is a Performer. Weird writeup on that one:
… especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like(s) to fill (his) surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells.
Huh?
Well, Heere Bigynneth The Tale of the Asse-Hatte was a rich tapestry.

Iowahawk is an easy one.
Pleasure and beauty: the look, feel, and sound of a well-tuned machine on four wheels.
Soft fabrics: the upholstery, of course.
Bright colors and sweet smells: Specialty paint, hand-rubbed finish, and motor oil.

“There might be a couple of kinks in that logarithm.”
I think you mean “algorithm”, Jules. I’ve never met a kinky logarithm, but have had the pleasure of writing many a kinky algorithm.
:)

That’s like a math thing, right? Computers and stuff. OK.
