Merry Alternative X’Mas!
Brit twits at Channel 4 give Ahmadinejad the alternative Christmas “seasonal goodwill” message. Art via Israel Matzav who notes “these multi-culti dhimmis just won’t get it until a nuclear missile hits them in their rear ends.” News starts with UK Telegraph:
A spokesman for the broadcaster said the message is a spiritual one and includes the president’s wishes for seasonal goodwill.
In it he congratulates followers of Jesus Christ and the people of Britain on the anniversary of Jesus’s birth. He speaks about society’s problems and crises being rooted in its rejection of the message of God’s prophets including Jesus.
He also criticises the “indifference of some governments and powers towards the teachings of the divine prophets, especially those of Jesus Christ”.
Philip Davies MP, a Tory member of the culture select committee, said Channel 4’s decision to broadcast a message from President Ahmadinejad was “completely unacceptable on every level”.
Sounds like Channel 4 might have some trouble with the free speech authorities.
“His previous comments don’t strike me as being in tune with with what most people feel at Christmas time. He is an offensive man and the last person you would want to use for a Christmas message.
“Channel 4 have lost sight of what a Christmas message should be. They are trying to be controversial for the sake of being controversial, and are treating their viewers with contempt by pretending this is is not a publicity stunt.”
Dorothy Byrne, head of news and current affairs at Channel 4, said: “As the leader of one of the most powerful states in the Middle East, President Ahmadinejad’s views are enormously influential.
“As we approach a critical time in international relations, we are offering our viewers an insight into an alternative world view.”
Times of London has the whole thing, full of Christian charity and goodwill. Like this:
That sounds like bad news for Ahmadinejad. Meanwhile, here’s Ahmadinejad on the Messiah, sidekick to the Mahdi:
We believe, Jesus Christ will return, together with one of the children of the revered Messenger of Islam and will lead the world to love, brotherhood and justice. The responsibility of all followers of Christ and Abrahamic faiths is to prepare the way for the fulfilment of this divine promise and the arrival of that joyful, shining and wonderful age. I hope that the collective will of nations will unite in the not too distant future and with the grace of the Almighty Lord, that shining age will come to rule the earth.
Hot Air: “On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me: A terrorist Holocaust-denier invited by useful idiots to tell me why Jesus would want Iran to have the Bomb.”
In another special Christmas message, Muslims in Nazareth put up a festive sign:
Journalists visiting the city saw two large banners–one in English, one in Arabic–hanging in the plaza in front of the Basilica of the Annunciation, with a verse from the Koran (112:1-4) contradicting the New Testament proclamation that Jesus is the “only begotten” of God.
“In the name of Allah, the most beneficent, the most merciful, Say (O Muhammad): He is Allah, (the) One and Only. Allah, the Eternal, the Absolute. He begetteth not, nor was begotten, and there is none like unto him,” the banner reads.
Nazareth Mayor Ramiz Jaraisy played down concerns that a banner effectively denying Jesus’ deity was provocative to Christians, although he did question its position, in front of Nazareth’s most prominent landmark.
“I don’t think that it’s provocative against anyone,” he said. “My point of view [is] that it’s not the right place to put it and it’s not the right way to do that.”
But Jaraisy said he would not remove the banner because some Islamic fundamentalist groups were looking to provoke a confrontation in order to promote their cause. He did not want to provide them with that opportunity.
Religion of Peace not into cheek-turning? Gateway notes European dhimmi have taken cheek-turning to a new level, sticking mosques into creches. Never mind the cheek-slapping ingratitude and the religious absurdity … how about the historical outrage of putting an edifice that didn’t exist for another 600-odd years into a Nativity scene? Talk about a leap of faith … right off the multiculturalist cliff. Anyway, wouldn’t a Star of David make more sense?
You know, I think I might know those “He begetteth not, nor was begotten” guys. I got an invite to Ramadan dinner from a bunch of guys with skullcaps and billygoat beards who were setting up for evening prayers in a lot down the street from the big church in Nazareth on Christmas Day in 2000. No Jesus-bashing signs then. ”After prayers, big dinner, why don’t you join us?” We were heading back to Jerusalem and begged off.
Meanwhile, Ahmadinejad’s Gaza franchise, Hamas, spreads peace and joy in the Holy Land in its own special way.

“Right after we’ve finished wiping Israel and all the Jews off the planet.”
Britain’s Channel 4 must be hurting for viewers.

Ahmadinejad is despised in his own country, Why foreign Media even let such an ugly personality with mocking intentions have a voice?
