Early Non-Voter Turn-In High
BREAKING: The British are with us in this one. One of my closest allies, Theo Spark, assures me he won’t vote for this site and is counseling his readers not to do the same.* Thanks Theo! He’s the kind of guy you can count on when you need him, always with a cheery smile, we will fight them on the beaches, all that. (Speaking of fighting them on the beaches, he’s got your important news-related Australian topless beach totty.)
Meanwhile, in support of non-popularity, unrigged, rules-adherent contests, I might break my personal contest-participation ban and respond to John Hawkins’ invitation to join other conservative bloggers and vote in the 7th Annual Right Wing News Conservative Blog Awards at Right Wing News. Especially now that I know I have a pal on the jury. No money in this thing?
Now soliciting input from the most discerning conservative blog readers I know … you … on the following categories. Again, in keeping with my firmly held principles, I only ask that you not vote for me:
1) The Funniest Blog
2) Best Designed Blog
3) Best Original Reporting By A Blog
4) Best Horse Race Blog (Best election coverage & analysis from a blog)5) Favorite Political Website That’s Not A Blog
6) Favorite Columnist Who’s Not A Blogger7) Most Annoying Left-Of-Center Blogger
8) Most Annoying Right-Of-Center Blogger
9) Most Overrated Blog10) Best Linker
11) The Best Original Content For A Blog
I’ll take your advice into consideration in casting my own non-popularity driven ballot. Meanwhile, from RWN, here’s Hawkins’ Top 20 Non-Cheesecake Links on the Conservative Grapevine for December of 2008.
Hey Theo, you’re gonna do a Top 10 Totty of 2008 post, right?
Speaking of America’s staunchest allies, I’m still waiting for Tim Blair’s pledge of non-support. Also wondering when he’s going to weigh in on the important topless beach issue, or did I miss that? He’s been pretty diligent on the cheesecake front lately. Meanwhile, here’s important news re Paris Hilton’s diplomatic mission in Melbourne. $5,500 on dresses in 40 minutes. US or Australian dollars? Doesn’t sound like the girl’s really working that hard, but who cares:

More important news-related Aussie topless beach art at Maggie’s Farm. Hey Doc, where’s my non-endorsement?
