Roundup From The Ground Up

The great news arrived overnight, which is that Israel is (still) ignoring the handwringers (even more). What’s Hebrew for MYOB? I dunno, but “ground invasion” works. Washington Post kicks off the quick roundup with the first Israeli ground casualty, as the IDF moves in to bisect northern and southern Gaza and target missile launch sites.

Reuters: IDF gets a grip.

AP: Swaths cut.

TOL: Gaza split in three.

Dawn over NYT: Is the real target Hamas rule?

Ynet: Don’t pit the Palos … pity is the worst form of patronizing and will just prolong the whing … and the dying.

via Malkin, two more Hamas leaders who won’t be down for pita, as well as the news that Hamas has pre-emptively executed 35 of its own constituents and kneecapped 75 others to prevent them from collaborating with the Zionist entity. (Awaiting outrage for those parties usually highly concerned about moral outrages, lack of due process, human rights violations, etc.)

Gateway has your frothing anti-Semites for Terrorism vid.

Israel Matzav is shattering myths, offering a lot of vid and rounding up a lot of stuff you won’t see elsewhere.

Random Thoughts zeroes in with Gaza Update #8.

RCP with a big vid roundup.

Hot Air: “A lengthy operation.”

Goodwin at NYDN: Mideast options limited for Obama (Owho? Come on, I know you know I know that you know … he’s the quiet nervous buff workout guy who’s about to be president! Speaking of which, here’s Jennifer Rubin at RCP on President-elect Onigma. Hang on, that looks bad. It’s Obama+enigma, get it?)

Meanwhile, sources close to Hamas revealed over the weekend that the movement had “executed” more than 35 Palestinians who were suspected of collaborating with Israel and were being held in various Hamas security installations.

Yet more proof that even if Israel were to disappear tomorrow, the Palestinians would simply turn on each other and start the killing all over again. Murder has become a way of life.

[...] Crittenden has another good round up right here. [...]

  3. MikeH Says:

Take into consideration that the proof of collaboration was hearsay. It looks worse for the Palestinians who voted their executioners in.
