“And Then They Came For Me”
Assassinated Sri Lankan newspaper editor Lasantha Wickrematunge writes his own eulogy. VOA reports Sri Lankan journos are protesting what they believe to be a government hit on a vocal critic of government corruption and the campaign against the Tamil Tigers. VOA notes, “Both sides have been accused of widespread human rights violations, in the conduct of the war.” Killing people for writing and talking is criminal, no matter what they say.
