Yea, Verily …

Medieval disease whacks medieval evildoers. UK Sun, Algerian AQ camp decimated by plague: 

At least 40 al-Qaeda fanatics died horribly after being struck down with the disease that devastated Europe in the Middle Ages.

The killer bug, also known as the plague, swept through insurgents training at a forest camp in Algeria, North Africa. It came to light when security forces found a body by a roadside.

The victim was a terrorist in AQLIM (al-Qaeda in the Land of the Islamic Maghreb), the largest and most powerful al-Qaeda group outside the Middle East.

It trains Muslim fighters to kill British and US troops.

Now al-Qaeda chiefs fear the plague has been passed to other terror cells — or Taliban fighters in Afghanistan.

Darn, that’s good news. ”Died horribly.” It’s the kind of thing most people wouldn’t wish on their worst enemy … until they stop a minute and think about who their worst enemy is. Not to get biblical, but a good plague walloping is exactly the kind of old-school vengeance a wrathful God might righteously bring down upon their most evil asses … Hey, you don’t think Jevovah thinks the new guy could use a hand, do you? About it spreading from Algeria to Waziristan, well, it is spread by vermin. And divine intervention.

Speaking of which, Malkin re divine intervention in the recent election.

Hot Air cocks a wary eye at the cheesy tabloid’s report. O ye of little faith. Hot Air also concerned about plague spreading among the Taliban’s hosts. I dunno … curing the good people of Waziristan and Afghanistan of the Jihadi Death could be a good thing.

   Best News of the Day, Terrorists do not have basic medical know-how and supplies to treat the disease.
   Another good news; “It Spreads quickly and kills within hours. This will REALLY REALLY worry Al-Qaeda”! ! “GOOD”

   Hmm. The plague, in olden European times, was thought of as the curse of an angry God. You don’t suppose Allah has decided to make his displeasure known, do you?

   Seriously, could this be a bioweapon experiment gone (wonderfully) wrong?
