Patience Misplaced

The Hill reports the GOP is losing it with Obama and the Dem Cong. I congratulate them for having any in the first place, given the last two years of ineffectual Dem Cong leadership, plus insults, not to mention the last two weeks of ineffectual Obama leadership, plus insults, plus the bid to hamstring the GOP in the Senate by dangling Commerce in front of Gregg. It’s OK. It is the Dems’ prerogative as a one-party government. America asked for it, America got it. And this is a special time, the beginning of not only an administration, but the dawn of a new era. The GOP would be well-advised to see to its own problems while the Dems are busy constructing their own petard.

Here’s hoping Michael Steele can bring cohesion, coherence and a viable strategy to the Republican Party. Voting against Porkulus, the Congressional Kickback, is a good start. Getting a coherent and conservative Republican message out is the next logical follow-on.

‘Identify the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it ‘ is what Saul Alinsky preached. How will the corrupt Democrat Party like being on the receiving end?

I think it’s smart. They’re calling them out on their own promises. Who else is going to do it? The MSM? Hah.

This is exactly the right response, with none of the caterwauling we heard from Democratic leadership for nearly a dozen years.

Agreed. Although I would be more forceful in speaking to the GOP, along the lines of “It’s about time you pulled your heads out of your backsides! Now keep ‘em in the sunshine!!”

    The_Real_JeffS, well said.

Now maybe they can wire their heads to their asses, through their spine, so they can always have a handy place to foment the thought processes necessary for governance.

Dems in D.C. are acting like drunken, power crazed ‘Ho’s…! Time wounds all Heels. Did I see something about 4 Billion to ACORN in the faux “stimulus package”???
