Selfish Adults
Damage childhood, as economic independence of women has led to more two-career families and rising divorce rates, reports the Church of England. via BBC. Bit of a mixed message from a church founded on Henry VIII’s pressing need for a divorce, which more recently has been shilling for Sharia family values and bitterly divided over gay marriage. Never mind. My ancestral church’s answer to selfish adulthood appears to be more nanny statism. Also, a curious promotion of agnosticism in the form of civil ceremonies for new babies in lieu of christening, to affirm everyone’s commitment to the brat. Naturally, there’s selfish adult rage.
