This is actually kind of funny. The United Nations is PO’d at Hamas because the terrorist group ripped them off for a bunch of blankets and food meant for the poor. Money quote, via AP:
”Does anyone really think that the Americans, who are our single largest donor, or the Europeans, who are our largest multination donor, would give us aid in the generous way they do if they thought that aid would go to terrorists?”
Hang on … did UNRWA flack Christopher Gunness just call Hamas cops terrorists?
Maybe he doesn’t like working at the UN. Not clear why the UN has only now lost it with Hamas. You’d think drawing fire on a UN compound by using it as a firebase would be a problem. But I guess, as UNRWA flack Gunness’ remarks above suggest, everyone knows subjecting women and children to return fire just makes Israelis look bad. But being ripped off at gunpoint by your terrorist pals could hurt the bottomline.

Not clear why the UN has only now lost it with Hamas.
Maybe the local staff didn’t get their percentage from Hamas?

The UN isn’t angry that they got ripped off. They’re angry that their cozy relationship was exposed.
