Rant, Rave, Repeat
Two from MEMRI: An Egyptian cleric on the correct way to beat your wife. Meanwhile, Hamas TV scratches another kiddie show character. Assud the Rabbit won’t be down for falafel.* Stop me if you’ve heard either of those ones before. The wife-beating thing pretty much speaks for itself. It’s all about traditional, violent, 7th century family values. I don’t like to be judgmental, but I’m a little concerned about the psychological impact the children of Gaza might suffer from having their TV characters offed on a regular basis by Hamas screenwriters … on top of the traumatic loss of schoolmates, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, moms and dads, thanks to Hamas’ strategic rocketry and UN firebase tactics. Not healthy.
* Apparently Assud got whacked when the Zionists hit the Al-Aqsa TV Station. Hamas was using the kiddie show as a mortar position? Who knew. OK, a quick Assud photo appreciation on the occasion of his martyrdom:

Yarrrrghh! How’d that guy get in there!?! Scary.

Anyway, don’t cry any tears for Assud. He died doing what he loved. Dying.

Good grief, Saraa must be married by now! She looks like she’s going on ten. She’s almost an old maid in that part of the world.

Maybe if they switched to a better laundry detergent they wouldn’t need to replace costumes so often.

It’s too late for the Palestinians’ children. They’re already traumatized beyond redemption by their own families.
