War’s On

And it’s ugly. I dunno, did anyone ever really buy that “bi-partisanship,” “new politics” thing? Sargent at The Plumline

Obama’s labor allies target GOP No-ists with ad blitz re stimulus. White House in the loop on ad campaign that reportedly goes beyond what Obama and the White House have been willing to say. Beyond “I won,” “Stop taking your marching orders from Rush Limbaugh,” and “It’s all Bush’s fault” … I’m not so sure about that. Quick fact check: ad says 80 percent of Americans support jobs creation legislation “like” Obama’s. Nuance you could drive a truck full of union goons through.*

GOP (unofficially) has fun firing back at labor goons. Labor goons demand an apology.

* Apparently ASCME missed this Rasmussen poll: Support for Dems on economy slipping. This is also interesting: 62 percent want more tax cuts, less spending in stim plan. This one’s probably an unfair low blow: 67 percent think they could do a better job than Congress, 44 percent think a group of people randomly selected from the phone book could do a better job.

One Response to “War’s On”

  1. SeniorD Says:

Only 44% of Americans think a random selection of people could do better than the worthless, arrogant, corrupt professional politicians in Washington?

I could pick 535 names out of 20 year old obituaries and know they would do better that the current crop of degenerate, avaricious weasels in Congress.
