This Is A Test
But no pop quiz. It isn’t like Obama didn’t have time to study for this news. Financial Times: UN says Iran has enough uranium for a nuke. So, if you’re Obama, do you:
(A) Talk to mullahs.
(B) Bomb mullahs.
(C) Let the Israelis bomb mullahs.
(D) Line up allies against mullahs, and make sure mullahs know they are staring down the barrel of a bombing.
Choose as many as you like. Explain. please show your experience.
(Cheat sheet: If you’re George Bush, it’s easy. D, with credible options on B and C. Because mullahs only respond to credible threats of force. 2004.)
Surber: “Bush was right” … hey teacher, Surber’s cheating!
Hot Air, passing notes in class:
The only thing more predictable than a story every few weeks about Iran’s nuclear progress are the caveats that it’s not time to worry just yet. I guarantee that the very last news article written before the announcement that they’ve got the bomb will end with reassurances that it could be months or even years before the west has to act.
