Uncle Sam MD
Dr. Shrinkwrapped examines some of the symptoms, and assumptions drawn, as the patient stumbles toward the government healthcare clinic.
Step One, in case you missed it: Government to rate drugs, treatments. First, government has to figure out which treatments to rate. Dispensing with confusion sounds great. $1.1 billion worth? Unclear as yet how much that’s going to work out to per treatment. Maybe this is a good idea, I dunno. Raise your hand if you think your government makes a good efficiency expert.

For somebody like me, the idea of government-managed health care is scary as hell.
